There are many self trained chefs who can out cook and are more successful than many who went to a formal cooking school. Take Charlie Trotter for example! Or how about the multi Michelin starred Heston Blumenthal?!!!! Both are self taught. Would you say they aren’t chefs either? The bottom line is, the recipes on Paltrow’s first book are easy, crowd pleasers and relatively healthy. Who cares who wrote them!
