EXECUTIVE PROFILES

Anna Wallner

President, Partner, Host, Executive Producer

Anna Wallner is one of the creators, hosts and executive producers of W Network�s three hit series "Anna & Kristina�s Beauty Call", "Anna & Kristina�s Grocery Bag", and "The Shopping Bags". Anna received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and completed the graduate journalism program at the University of King's College in Halifax. In 1994, she returned to Vancouver to begin her television career for Global News, where she spent five years as a reporter and anchor.

Anna was voted Broadcaster of Tomorrow by the BC Broadcasters Association in 1999 and in 2000 she was nominated for a prestigious Webster award for her work as a health reporter. Anna and her then work associate Kristina Matisic came up with the idea for �The Shopping Bags� in 1999 and have been working as consumer advocates ever since.


Kristina Matisic

CEO, Partner, Host, Executive Producer

Kristina Matisic is one of the creators, hosts and executive producers of W Network�s three hit series "Anna & Kristina�s Beauty Call", "Anna & Kristina�s Grocery Bag", and "The Shopping Bags".

Kristina Matisic has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and a Masters in Journalism from the University of Southern California. She spent six years at Global TV's Vancouver station, first as an overnight news anchor and eventually as the news anchor and producer of the 11:30 p.m. newscast.

While at Global, Anna and Kristina hatched �The Shopping Bags� concept, and the pair has been testing products and investigating consumer trends ever since.


Heather Hawthorn-Doyle

Head of Development, Executive Producer

Heather Hawthorn-Doyle has developed an instinct for television that has catapulted her to the top of the industry. Hawthorn-Doyle is an award-winning producer with hundreds of series and specials to her credit including Make Some Noise, winner of NHK Japan prize for Best International Youth series, and the Gemini-nominated Word Travels, featuring two of Canada�s top travel writers on an around the world journey. Her work with Worldwide Bag Media has resulted in three Gemini nominations for Anna & Kristina�s Grocery Bag for the 2011 awards.


TEAM PROFILES


Sandi Butler

Production Coordinator, Development Assistant

After moving to Vancouver from Toronto, Sandi came on board the Bag Media team to help co-ordinate the Gemini-nominated hit series "Anna & Kristina's Grocery Bag". She also works with the development team coordinating new projects.

Sandi received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Media, Information, and Technoculture from the University of Western Ontario in 2007. Before moving to Vancouver, she worked on multiple television series including "Save Us From Our House!" and "The Heat with Mark McEwan". Sandi's background also includes commercial and independent short film experience.
